Fajarasia.co – The chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Puan Maharani responded to a question about his party’s opportunity to cooperate politically with other political parties. Including, with the National Awakening Party (PKB) and Gerindra who are exploring communication.
According to Puan, PDIP did not rule out the possibility to cooperate with the two parties in the 2024 General Election.
This was conveyed by Puan in response to reporters on the sidelines of the PDIP second National Working Meeting, at the Lenteng Agung Party School, Jakarta, Tuesday (21/6/2022).
“Yes, it is possible,” said Puan.
The chairman of the DPR RI also related the message from PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri, that the party bearing the white-nosed bull symbol could not be alone in building Indonesia.
According to Megawati, said Puan, cooperation between political parties is needed for Indonesia’s future development.
“Mother Ketum said that building Indonesia cannot be done alone, we must work together,” he added.
On the other hand, Puan also quoted President Joko Widodo (Jokowi)’s statement about developing Indonesia.
Where, President Jokowi also agrees that building Indonesia must work hand in hand among all parties, including between political parties.
“The president also said that, he must be able to help build Indonesia,” concluded Puan.****
