Fajarasia.co – The House of Representatives (DPR) will hold a plenary meeting today. One of the agenda in this Plenary Meeting is the ratification of the Revision of Law (RUU) Number 12 of 2011 concerning the Establishment of Legislations (P3).
For the first agenda of the 23rd Plenary Meeting Period V Session Year 2021-2022, Tuesday (24/5/2022), the DPR will listen to the submission of the 2021 Semester II Examination Results Summary (IHPS) and the Submission of the Second Semester Examination Results Report (LHP). Year 2021 from BPK RI.
“Then there will be Level II Discussions/Decision-making on the Bill on the Second Amendment to Law Number 12 of 2011 concerning the Establishment of Legislations,” said Chair of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani.
The P3 Bill, which will be ratified, will later become the legal basis for Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation (UU Cipta Kerja).
According to Puan, the revision of the P3 Law was carried out because Law 12/2011, which is a guideline for drafting laws and regulations, has not yet regulated the omnibus law method.
The Constitutional Court mandated that the Job Creation Law be revised within 2 years of the decision taken in November 2021.
“DPR implements the Constitutional Court’s decision,” explained Puan.
After making the decision to ratify the P3 Bill, the DPR Plenary Meeting continued with the presentation of the views of the factions on the Macroeconomic Framework and the Principles of Fiscal Policy (KEM and PPKF) of the RAPBN for Fiscal Year 2023.
The former Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture said that the views of the factions in the DPR will help determine the direction of national economic policy. To that end, Puan advised all DPR factions to convey their views carefully.
“The DPR will pay special attention to KEM PPKF 2023 in order to realize the APBN for Fiscal Year 2023 which can improve the quality of life and welfare of the people,” he concluded.***
