Fajarasia.co – During her visit to Lampung, the Chairperson of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, attended the Creative MSME bazaar in Tulang Bawang Regency. On that occasion he also had a dialogue with people from various circles who then gave support to Puan as a presidential candidate (candidate).
Puan visited the Creative MSME Bazaar at the GSG (Multipurpose Building) Menggala, Kab. Bone Onions, Wednesday (24/8/2022). Puan’s presence was welcomed by the Regent of Tulang Bawang Winarti and the Forkopimda ranks, as well as representatives from the relevant ministries.
Puan was warmly welcomed with local traditional dances and processions. At this location, Puan also had a dialogue with a number of farmers, fishermen, fish cultivators and people with social disabilities. There are several things that were conveyed by the first woman who served as Chair of the DPR RI.
“The DPR RI is working hard so that it is not difficult for farmers to get fertilizer, so that it is not difficult for fishermen to go to sea, so that it is not difficult for fish cultivators to sell their work,” said Puan.
“So that people with disabilities have the same opportunities as the community in general,” he added.
Puan also asked the people who attended to tell what their needs were. He promised, the DPR will try to fight for the aspirations of the people.
“What are the main problems faced by ladies and gentlemen? What kind of assistance do you need, ladies and gentlemen, “said Puan.
A resident named Poniyem expressed his hope to ask for assistance for P2L facilities (Pekarangan Pangan Lestari) for farmer groups. This is to facilitate the production of tiwul.
“What will happen to tiwul in the future as a healthy food,” said Poniyem.
Puan also stated that she would try to fulfill Poniyem’s expectations. Moreover, tiwul is a typical Indonesian food that has advantages from various aspects, including the culinary tourism sector.
“Tiwul is everywhere, there is also instant tiwul. I eat it and I take it with me when I visit abroad. It tastes good and fills you up. You have to be enthusiastic and believe that tiwul is Indonesian food that goes international,” said Puan.
“It must be maintained and hygienic, attractive packaging, can be durable without preservatives,” added the grandson of the Proclaimer of the Republic of Indonesia Bung Karno.
At this moment, about 1,500 people from Tulang Bawang who had a dialogue with the Speaker of the DPR clamored for Puan’s name. They were shouting loudly.
“Miss president, Miss president,” shouted residents.
In fact, the Regent of Tulang Bawang, who was the moderator of the dialogue, praised Puan.
“Mrs. Puan Maharani is a future leader who must be supported,” said Regent Winarti, greeted by shouts from residents who supported Puan running as a presidential candidate.
After the dialogue, Puan symbolically conveyed assistance to the community. The assistance provided was in the form of 10 tractors, 20 water pumps, excavators, fish seeds, and 3 packages of Sustainable Food Gardens (P2L).
Other donations were symbolically handed over in the form of Formic Acid to improve the quality of rubber, social granaries in 2 locations, 1,000 food packages, and attention for 83 people.****
