Fajarasia.co – The latest update regarding the shooting incident in Texas, United States, last Tuesday (24/5/2022), it was reported that there was no list of names of the dead Indonesian citizens (WNI).
This was explained by the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Directorate for the Protection of Indonesian Citizens (PWNI), Judha Nugraha.
“There were no Indonesian victims in this incident,” said Judha, Thursday (26/5/2022).
Not only that, the Indonesian Consulate General, with this incident, appealed to Indonesian citizens in the area to increase their vigilance and be careful.
“WNI to report emergency situations to local security forces and to representatives of the Republic of Indonesia,”
Meanwhile, according to the records of the Indonesian Consulate General in Houston, there are around 10,000 Indonesian citizens residing in Texas, of which 50 live in the San Antonio area.
Please note that the shooting incident occurred at Robb Elementary School in Ulvade, Texas at around 11:32 am local time. a total of 18 students and 3 adults who are teaching staff at the school also died.****
