Fajarasia.co – The Indonesian national team coach Shin Tae-yong hopes that the PSSI Ordinary Congress held today, Monday (30/5) in Bandung, can produce a decision that strengthens the regulations of Liga 1.
“I hope that Liga 1 regulations are strengthened so that the quality is better,” said Shin at the Sidolig Field, Bandung, Monday (30/5/2022).
The South Korean tactician himself did not specify what regulations he meant. However, according to Shin, strong regulations can be the foundation for the formation of a strong national team.
The 2022 PSSI Ordinary Congress, which is scheduled to take place at 13.00 WIB, will be attended by 87 delegates with voting rights. Minister of Youth and Sports Zainudin Amali is also scheduled to attend, as are representatives of FIFA, AFC and AFF.
As in the 2021 Ordinary Congress, the 2022 Ordinary Congress is predicted to thoroughly discuss the competition, both League 1, League 2, League 3 and others.
This means that the 2022 Ordinary Congress has the potential to give birth to new decisions regarding the implementation of the 2022-2023 Indonesian Liga 1 and 2022 Indonesian League 2. In the previous season, the two leagues ran with a bubble system and without spectators in the stadium considering the high number of COVID-19 cases. .
The 2022 congress may also discuss changing the format of the 2022-2023 Indonesian Liga 1 which in the 2021-2022 season will have a draw system, returning to the conventional home-away system as in normal times.
The PSSI 2022 Ordinary Congress also seems to be discussing the program and agenda of the Indonesian national team, both age groups and seniors, boys and girls.****
