Fajarasia.co – The chairman of the DPR who is also the chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP Puan Maharani explained that he was ordered by the Chairperson of the PDIP Megawati Soekarnoputri to tour regions in Indonesia.
This was said by Puan after visiting the DPC PDIP Cirebon, West Java, Monday (4/7/2022). He admits that lately he has often been asked why he is so active in traveling around Indonesia.
“So far, I have been roaming around, Central Java, East Java, starting from West Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, to Papua, and so on. Someone asked Ms. Puan, what are you going to do about playing around?” said Puan.
“Yes, firstly as Chair of the party’s DPP as Chairman of the DPR, I was assigned, remember that Mrs. General Chairperson (Megawati) was assigned to play around, to meet with the PDI-P big family,” continued Puan.
Puan explained that her duties were to travel around Indonesia in addition to working visits as Chair of the DPR and then also to consolidate as Chair of the PDIP DPP.
On the one hand, sometimes Puan admits that she feels tired because every week she has to travel around Indonesia, but she feels enthusiastic again when she meets people.
“Another event, another event, another event, why? Yes, this is because I want to meet the extended family of my PDI-P, for two years we have not had a meeting like this in Covid, zoom is zooming again, so because I was assigned to play again, am I tired, I’m so tired,” explained Puan.
In addition, Puan also revealed the reason why Megawati is no longer around. This is because the mother’s condition is no longer possible to actively go down.
“Why? We all love Mega’s mother, right, so I am indeed one of the people who asked Mega’s mother not to play around like we used to because we love Mega’s mother, we take care of her health, if there is a big event, urgent event, mother’s important event will be present, “concluded madam.
