Fajarasia.co – The volunteer fighter Puan Maharani in East Java held a consolidation to strengthen support for President Soekarno’s grandson towards the 2024 presidential election.
The consolidation for volunteers in the electoral district (dapil) VIII was held in Sumobito, Jombang.
The Coordinator of the Puan Maharani fighter for East Java, Chusnul Wafiq, said that the consolidation this time specifically discussed their strategy to be more massive in moving into the grassroots area of voters in the VIII electoral district, which includes Mojokerto Regency, Jombang Regency, Nganjuk Regency, Madiun City, and Madiun Regency.
“This consolidation is very important to formulate and map out a strategy so that our movement as volunteers to introduce and socialize Mrs. Puan Maharani to the community in the VIII electoral district will be more massive, directed, and well received by the community,” he said.
He admitted that currently Puan Maharani’s volunteer movement in 6 regencies/cities in the electoral district has produced good results, but they will never be complacent until Puan Maharani has actually been elected as President in the 2024 election.
“We as volunteers will continue to move until Mrs. Puan is elected President in the 2024 Presidential Election,” he said.

“People’s views have changed a lot towards the figure of Mrs. Puan after the speech, including the people in Mojokerto and Jombang, it has a very positive impact, so that support for Mrs. Puan continues to grow in the 2024 election,” he said.
In addition, he continued, the people at the grassroots level really expect a leader who not only has a national vision as stated in Puan’s speech at that time, but also understands the feelings of the people below.
“Mrs. Puan, who was born from the PDI-P, certainly understands the problems faced by people at the rural level, we really believe in that, so we never hesitate to continue to work as volunteers,” he explained.
Then the Coordinator of the Volunteer Fighters Puan Maharani for the Ngajuk and Madun regions, Ahmad Fadhil Aimanudin, said that the focus of volunteer work was to continue to socialize the figure of Puan Maharani and convey various national ideas, to the achievements that have been proven by the Chair of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
“We convey to the public simple things that have been proven to be able to be done by Mrs. Puan, so we are very sure that if Mrs. Puan is trusted by the community to become President, she will work hard as is currently happening, a leader who speaks very little, but more work,” he concluded.****
