Fajarasia.co – DPR Speaker Puan Maharani donated a sacrificial cow weighing 1.3 tons to the Baitul Muslimin Indonesia (Bamusi) of the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the Central Java PDI-P.
Today, the slaughter of sacrificial animals was carried out at the Marhen Panti, Jl Brigjen Katamso, Semarang City. The activity which started at 08.30 WIB was attended by a number of residents around Panti Marhen.
This cow donated by Puan is a limousine with a weight of 1.3 tons. Apart from Puan’s cows, there were also 10 sacrificial cows distributed by the Central Java PDI-P DPD.
“Alhamdulillah, for the year 1443 H, the Central Java PDI-P through Bamusi as the executor managed to collect 10 cows, consisting of Mbak Puan (Puan Maharani) assisted cows which weighed 1.3 tons, then from the Chairman of the Central Java PDIP DPD Bambang Wuryanto, the Secretary of the PDIP DPD Central Java, Bambang Kusriyanto, there are members of the DPD RI Casytha Arriwi Kathmandu, and others from the DPD management and the Central Java DPRD faction,” said Head of Sacrifice Activities Lukman Hakim, Sunday (10/7)
Lukman Hakim said that in the previous year the Central Java PDI-P DPD distributed sacrificial animals to the public in the form of meat, but this year it is a little different.
“Usually we distribute meat directly to the community around Panti Marhen, but this year we are trying to be different by distributing live cows. There are six cows that are distributed to the surrounding community,” he explained.
The six cows, said Lukman Hakim, were distributed to the leadership of the Central Java Muhammadiyah region, the head of the Central Java NU region, one prayer room in Peterongan village, one prayer room in Karangtempel village, one prayer room in Karangturi village, and one prayer room in Pandan Lamper village.
“While the remaining four cows, along with five goats, we slaughter here. God willing, this afternoon we will distribute the meat to the public. In total we distribute around 1200 packs,” he said.
Separately, Deputy Secretary of the PDI-P DPD H Sumanto, SH, the distribution and slaughter of sacrificial animals at the Panti Marhen is a form of gratitude.
“This is a form of our gratitude. Meanwhile, the distribution of live cattle is done so that the distribution of the sacrificial cows is more evenly distributed to the community,” said Sumanto.****
