Fajarasia.co – The negative public perception of Puan Maharani was finally refuted after the Chair of the Indonesian House of Representatives showed her expertise in conveying national ideas during a speech at the Plenary Meeting of the Opening of the Session I of the Indonesian House of Representatives for the 2022-2023 Session Year at the Parliament Building, Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
The speech which contained a number of Puan’s bright ideas received a positive response from various political observers, including businessmen and citizens in cyberspace (netizens).

The content of the speech which is thick with nationality makes Puan worthy to be placed as a national figure.

Similarly, Political Communication Observer Ari Junaedi also stated that Bung Karno’s grandson’s speech comprehensively discussed all aspects of the life of the Indonesian nation at the age of 77 years of independence. He considered the speech as Puan’s vision in building a better country.
“Regardless of whether Puan will participate in the 2024 presidential election contestation or not, Puan’s speech is very interesting to note because it discusses many aspects of national and state life, which in my opinion is more like Puan’s vision to build Indonesia in the future,” said Junaedi.
In fact, Political Communication expert from Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN) Silvanus Alvin assessed that the content of Puan’s speech was futuristic, because it could be interpreted as a manifesto for Indonesia now and in the future.
In her speech, Puan spoke about the importance of maintaining the Pancasila ideology to continue to guide Indonesia. The first woman to serve as Chair of the Indonesian House of Representatives also invites stakeholders to build the younger generation into superior human resources (HR).
Puan also mentioned the various challenges faced by Indonesia that needed to be overcome with various national capabilities and strengths, including the spirit of gotong royong. Alvin said Puan had the foresight to make Indonesia more advanced.
“There is a futuristic view, where Puan can see the obstacles to the nation’s progress and the opportunities and opportunities for Indonesia to reach the golden age,” he said.
Another political observer, Adib Miftahul, even compares Puan to being able to convey ideas as her mother, Megawati Soekarno Putri, when she was young. Puan is well versed in the context of national issues, challenges and offers solutions.
