Members of the DPR RI hope that there will be no increase in BPJS Health contributions

Fajarasia.co – Member of Commission IX DPR RI Ashabul Kahfi hopes that there will be no increase in contributions if BPJS Kesehatan implements the standard inpatient class system (KRIS) in July 2022, especially for Class III participants.

“We are still discussing the system with BPJS Kesehatan. Please if in the end KRIS becomes an option. However, I hope the government for third-class BPJS participants will not increase the fee,” Kahfi said in a release received by the Editors, Monday (27/6/2022).

Not without reason, according to this National Mandate Party (PAN) politician, third-class BPJS participants can be classified as underprivileged people.

If the KRIS system must be implemented, according to him, it is better for standard classes. However, not for the third class.

“We just appreciate their awareness that they are willing to pay as participants all this time. So, this fee will indeed be a problem if it has to be increased again,” he said.

The implementation of the KRIS system, said Kahfi, requires socialization so that it can be well received in the community.

“Sometimes a policy is good. However, due to lack of socialization, there are rejections,” he said again.

Kahfi said that there are two hospitals (RS) in Makassar City that are ready for trials, namely Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital and Tajuddin Chalid Hospital. The review took place on June 25, 2022.

It is known that BPJS Kesehatan will merge class 1, 2, and 3 services into one. The smelting plan through the KRIS program will soon be implemented.

Currently, BPJS is conducting simulations and calculations related to the National Health Insurance (JKN) class fees which will be merged into one. Therefore, class 1, 2, and 3 services are still being applied.****
