Fajarasia.co – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is auctioning land and buildings at Citra Gran Housing Block Q 05 Number 10, Jatikarya Village, Jati Sempurna District, Bekasi City. The land and building assets are related to the corruption case that ensnared the former Regent of the Talaud Islands, Sri Wahyumi Maria Manalip.

The land and buildings in the Bekasi area were auctioned in accordance with the Corruption Court Decision at the Manado District Court Number: 22/Pid.Sus-TPK/2021/PN Mnd on behalf of the convict Sri Wahyumi Maria Manalip which has permanent legal force. The land and building assets were auctioned with a limit price of IDR 1.4 billion.

“KPK together and through the intermediary of the Bekasi KPKNL will conduct an auction of the execution of the booty in public based on the Corruption Court Decision at the Manado District Court Number: 22/Pid.Sus-TPK/2021/PN Mnd dated January 25, 2022 on behalf of the convict Sri Wahyumi. Ali detailed that the building being auctioned had an area of ​​92 M2 or 93M2 as stated in the Certificate of Building Use Rights (SHGB) Number 7747 on behalf of PT Sinar Bahana Mulya. The building is suspected to belong to or related to Sri Wahyumi Maria Manalip.

“(The auctioned goods are not accompanied by proof of ownership) with a limit price of Rp. 1,405,765,000 and a security deposit of Rp. 300,000,000,” said Ali.

The plan is that the auction will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at approximately 13.00 WIB. The auction will be held by closed bidding via www.lelang.go.id. The auction site is located at KPKNL Bekasi Jalan Sersan Aswan, Number 8D, Bekasi, West Java.

For your information, the Panel of Judges at the Corruption Court (Tipikor) at the Manado District Court stated that Sri Wahyumi was legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing a criminal act of corruption. Sri was proven to have received gratuities related to a number of projects in 2014-2017.

For his actions, Sri was sentenced to four years in prison and a fine of Rp. 200 million, subsidiary to three months in prison. Thus, Sri Wahyumi will languish in the Manado Class II A Rutan for four years for the case of receiving gratuities related to a number of infrastructure projects.

In addition to imprisonment and a fine, Sri Wahyumi was also charged with paying compensation of Rp9.3 billion. With the provisions, if it is not paid within one month after the court’s decision has permanent legal force, then the property will be confiscated by the Prosecutor.

The confiscated assets will be auctioned off to cover the replacement money. However, if Sri Wahyumi does not have sufficient assets, he will be replaced with a sentence of two years.****
