Fajarasia.co – Israeli occupation forces shot dead a 15-year-old Palestinian boy, Zaid Ghuneim, on Friday night in the village of Al-Khader, south of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem.
This was revealed by the Palestinian Ministry of Health. Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that 85 Palestinians were injured in Israel’s crackdown on protesters in the occupied West Bank.
Ghuneim was injured by direct gunshots to the back and neck. He was rushed to hospital in critical condition before being declared dead.
Witnesses said Ghuneim suddenly saw Israeli occupation forces in the village and tried to hide in the garage.
Eyewitnesses reported that Ghuneim was shot by Israeli soldiers who fired live ammunition at him, killing him in cold blood.
According to PRCS, Israeli occupation forces injured 26 Palestinian protesters in the village of Beita, south of Nablus.
The PRCS also reported that 38 Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire and pepper powder in the Huwwarah neighborhood, south of Nablus.
In Huwwarah, PRCS said, Israeli occupation forces threw tear gas canisters directly at ambulances operating in the area where Palestinians were injured.
The PRCS also reported 21 Palestinians were injured in Israel’s crackdown on Palestinian protests in the village of Beit Dajan, in the city of Nablus.
Israeli occupation forces and settlers continue to attack Palestinians, steal land and attack their property in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.****
