Eko said, this export is also easier with the synergy of BKIPM Balikpapan, Balikpapan Customs, PT. Angkasa Pura I, SAMS Sepinggan Airport, Balikpapan and MY Indo Airlines. Currently, business actors can take advantage of the direct call facility or export directly to China and Singapore.

“We are committed to continuing to provide convenience and excellent service to the community, especially service users,” said Eko.

Furthermore, Eko said that the traffic of fishery commodities out of East Kalimantan (Kaltim) continues to increase. It is noted that during 2021 the export value from East Kalimantan will reach more than Rp. 1 trillion.

The export destinations for fishery commodities from East Kalimantan include Japan, China, Great Britain, Singapore, Hong Kong, the United States, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea, Vietnam, the Netherlands.

BKIPM Balikpapan, said Eko, will also continue to strive to maintain this positive trend by providing quality assurance services for fishery products to be exported.
