Fajarasia.co – On the second day of his working visit in Munich, Germany, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will attend the 48th G7 Summit which will be held at Schloss Elmau, Bavarian Alps, Germany, Monday (27/6/2022). ).
President Jokowi flew to the summit location using a military helicopter type Sikorsky CH53, for approximately 30 minutes of flight with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Heads of State will attend a series of G7 summits starting from the official welcome by the German Chancellor, meeting sessions, to a dinner.
In addition, President Jokowi is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with a number of state leaders. These include the Chancellor of Germany, the President of France, the Prime Minister of India, the President of Senegal, and the Prime Minister of Canada.
After the entire series of G7 summits is complete, President Jokowi will then return to Munich using the same helicopter.
The President attended the G7 Summit as a G7 partner country along with 4 other leaders, namely the President of Argentina, the Prime Minister of India, the President of Senegal, and the President of South Africa, as well as the G20 Presidency.
At this G7 summit, President Jokowi will also encourage G7 countries to jointly seek peace in Ukraine and Russia, as well as seek solutions as soon as possible in dealing with the food crisis and energy crisis that is engulfing the world.
