Fajarasia.co -The Indonesian congregation appreciates the fast track service at the Saudi Arabian Airport, which took effect today, Thursday (9/6/2022).
There are only two groups that receive fast track services, namely Jakarta Pondok Gede and Jakarta Bekasi. Apart from Ameer Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz Airport (AMMA) Medina, fast track services will also be enjoyed by the second batch of Indonesian pilgrims who will land at King Abdul Aziz Airport Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
“It’s really fast, the process is fast. There’s nothing to check, go straight to the bus,” explained Erna Netty.
The other congregants said the same thing. Ahmad said he was happy because even though he went through the fast track, he also received a warm welcome from the Saudi Arabian government by getting various souvenirs.
“It’s also nice to be welcomed. Given flowers, given an umbrella, Alhamdulillah,” said Mr. Jasman.
Another pilgrim, Abdul Rozak, said that the fast track service provided by the Saudi Arabian government made it easier for pilgrims to arrive at the Holy Land.
“Fast track, thank God, it’s easier, more delicious. In Cengkareng, it’s faster. So there’s no hassle here,” said Abdul Rozak.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Airport Work Area, Haryanto Sarpin when met at his office, said that the fast track facilitates and speeds up services for Indonesian pilgrims.
“God willing, the fast track will not only be in Medina, but will also be in Jeddah. So it has been a collaboration between the Indonesian government and the Saudi Arabian government to accelerate the service for pilgrims. In the future, hopefully if this is good, already using the fast track, the service at the airport will be faster In Shaa Allah there will be no problems,” explained Haryanto to the Hajj Media center at AMMA Medina Airport.
A total of 29,131 Indonesian pilgrims from 73 groups will receive fast track facilities during the 2022 Hajj pilgrimage.
Those who get the fast track service facility are equivalent to 31 percent of the total Indonesian pilgrims this year.
The 73 clusters will be served by fast tracks with details of Jakarta-Pondok Gede as many as 29 groups and Jakarta-Bekasi 44 groups.****
