Fajarasia.co – Chairman of Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives Ahmad Doli Kurnia said that a small salary is a consequence of being a civil servant (PNS) or State Civil Apparatus (ASN).
“It is generally accepted and everyone knows that the consequences of being a civil servant are low wages and being placed anywhere,” said Doli in Jakarta, Tuesday (31/5/2022).
According to him, being a civil servant is a life choice and must be accounted for. Those who choose to become civil servants must be aware of these choices.
“They know how much civil servants are paid and what their living conditions are,” he said.
Regarding the sanctions for civil servants who pass and then resign, said Doli, he is still studying whether there is such a rule. “But if it does exist, I think it must be enforced,” he emphasized.
Previously, the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) recorded that as many as 105 CPNS resigned after being declared to have passed the 2021 admissions selection test, with the Ministry of Transportation as the agency with the most resignations, namely 11 people.
The Head of the Legal, Public Relations, and Cooperation Bureau of BKN, Satya Pratama, said that agencies with resigned CPNS could re-apply the vacant formation at the 2022 CPNS acceptance.
“Agencies must submit again for the next CPNS acceptance or be submitted to be filled by the PPPK formation (Government Employees with Work Agreements),” said Satya.
In the Regulation of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Permenpan RB) Number 27 of 2021 concerning the Procurement of Civil Servants, it is stated that applicants who have been declared graduated but have resigned, then the Civil Service Guidance Officer must announce the cancellation of the graduation in question.****
