Fajarasia.co – The Chairperson of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, made a working visit to Cirebon, West Java, on Monday (4/7/2022).
During the visit, Puan was accompanied by a number of leaders of the Council’s Apparatus (AKD) in the DPR.
Puan revealed the reason why she brought a number of AKD leaders to the DPR.
He wants all members of the DPR not only to care about their constituency (dapil).
“Some people ask why, madam, if you go, why are so many DPR members invited? Because I want all DPR members in the RI DPR, not only in their electoral districts,” said Puan at the PDIP DPC Cirebon, West Java, Monday. .
In addition, Puan wants all members of the DPR to be involved in the community in all regions.
Moreover, continued Puan, the PDIP faction in the DPR has leaders in all commissions.
“Now we have commission leaders in all AKD in the DPR, as well as in regencies, cities. So I want everything to go down because the DPR RI is national, which is taken care of not only the electoral districts but all the electoral districts nationally,” he said.
Puan gave an example of the benefits of DPR members who accompany her every time she goes to the regions.
Where to look at specific issues starting in the region, from health, infrastructure to security.
“So that’s so that the leadership of commission IX looks at the health problems that exist in West Java, Central Java and East Java. That later there will be help, later we will prioritize which infrastructure we invite to commission V, we’ll see what we need,” he said.
“Similarly, the third commissioner is Mr. Bambang Wuryanto, how to see the situation in the region, how is the security and safety situation,” continued Puan.
