Fajarasia.co – The National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) will provide a Business Identification Number (NIB) to increase household businesses and family income for KB (Family Planning) acceptors at the peak of National Family Day 2022 on July 7, 2022 in Medan, North Sumatra. .
“The BKKBN has collaborated with the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs so that the Acceptor Family Income Increase Business group (UPPKA) can gain access to capital to marketing their business through the NIB,” said BKKBN Deputy for Family Welfare and Empowerment, Nopian Andusti in a written statement received by the Editors, Tuesday (5/7/2022).
Nopian said the NIB is a guarantee for the UPPKA BKKBN. Business legality can be guaranteed in accordance with its legal capacity, so that every business activity can be maximized.
In addition, the stigma that UPPKA belongs solely to the BKKBN can be removed, because in reality, UPPKA belongs to the community where every responsibility and development is carried out by the relevant ministries/institutions together.
“When they already have a NIB, of course this will be known as part of the UKM, because what UPPKA is doing is working in the field of small and micro businesses in one group,” he said.
Nopian said the collaboration with the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs, the UPPKA group would receive special attention from the local government. Families will also receive assistance in accessing capital and marketing through the relevant regional offices.
For example, if UPPKA is engaged in animal husbandry, the local regional livestock office with other related agencies will be given guidance such as breeding to marketing.
In addition to providing NIBs, the BKKBN also issues circulars to all local governments at the provincial to district/city levels to assist UPPKA groups that have obtained the NIB.
Nopian stated that the government cannot provide direct capital assistance to each family. However, at least the government can bring UPPKA closer to sources of family capital.
“So, one of the reasons for this National Family Day is how we work together with the Ministry of Cooperatives to issue NIMs and encourage local governments to embrace our UPPKA to apply for NIBs through the SME office in districts/cities,” said Nopian.****
