Fajarasia.id – Golkar party leader Airlangga Hartarto and Nasem leader Surya Palo negotiated despite standing in different coalitions. The Golkar Party belongs to the United Federation of Indonesia (KIB) and the Nasdem Party belongs to the Coalition for Transformation.

According to him, the opportunities for cooperation between the two are wide open in terms of strengthening national politics. Golkar and Nasdem both have great political power in Indonesian politics.
“This opportunity can at least strengthen national politics as a nationalist political party. As a national political force, friendly gatherings are important so that they can align their grand national vision,” he said.

Nevertheless, the two political parties are also considered to be difficult to work together in the form of a coalition. Surokim revealed that while awaiting direction from Jokowi, Golkar will continue to monitor developments in political dynamics. “Of course, Golkar will continue to monitor the situation and the situation, and it appears that it is still awaiting orders from Pak Jokowi, and will also observe the PDI-P’s tendency to direct support for the KIB. Support for the candidate seems to differ from Nasdem,” he concluded.
